We wanted our first large build to capture the look of classical Carolina boat designs. With a proud bow, aggressive stem, and enough flare to provide lift when crossing a breaking bar or charging into a steep headsea. All while blending in the modern advances in yacht design of CFD testing and CAD models applied to the running surfaces to ensure that the boat performs as good as it looks.

The Duffie 64' features a teak interior with a satin finish built by Belkov Yacht in Annapolis, MD. The teak and extra-wide plank wenge-wood flooring really stand out and are a fresh upgrade to the ancestral teak-and-holly flooring. The state-of-the-art galley is simple, with white marble countertops that possess slightly abstract but stunning dark-gray veins running through it, and the salon arrangement is one of family and camaraderie. There are rod and tackle storage abound. The salon features a U shaped couch and a love seat along with an elevated booth style dinette with tackle storage below. Sub zero fridge freezer combos reside under the solid surface counter-tops. There are 3 staterooms and 3 full heads, along with a full tackle room equipped
with a custom tackle center including slide-out storage houses rods of all classes, and a large 8 cu ft bait freezer that is nestled below a rigging countertop.

The cockpit has couch seating on the mezzanine for observation, because anglers don't sit on a couch. Teak decking on the mezzanine has storage below, in addition to 3 refrigerated storage boxes in the mezzanine step. Our state of the art drain system has a French drain running the length of the transom, keeping the deck free of standing water without having to rely on the water finding its way to the traditional corner scuppers.

The cockpit is laid out for tournament fishing. Another detail we are fanatical about is cockpit size.  With a crew of anglers and 2 mates you will still have plenty of room to move and work and not be on top of each other.

The bridge is equipped with a single, centered helm chair and two long benches on either side with storage underneath. Forward of the helm pod is a double seat with molded-in cup holders. The helm features dual 22-inch Garmin displays in the command station and a single 16-inch display in the drop-down box between twin Caterpillar displays and the Garmin autopilot heads. It also features a Furuno Omni sonar. Located above the helm chair are two recessed teaser reels; 42-foot tournament outriggers complete the captain’s effects. Rupp Riggers rounds out the details above.

The engine room consists of a pump room housing the Spot Zero water-purification system, a Dometic XZII 2200 watermaker, two Eskimo ice chippers and a Seakeeper 18. Also included is an ElectroSea Clearline system paired with a closed-circuit freshwater cooling system, the omnidirectional transducer, and custom battery storage. The engines are Twin Caterpillar C32 ACERTs paired with Twin Disc MGX quick-shift gears. Both sides of the engines are completely accessible, with over 2 feet of space between the motor and the hull.

After her christening in June 2021, the Billfisher immediately began it's busy tournament season in the Mid Atlantic. The boats first season was extremely successful catching the Maryland State record Blue Marlin weighing in at 1,135 lbs. in the Mid-Atlantic Tournament. She will now be on a transport ship heading West to Costa Rica where she will be fishing during the winter months. The boat and crew will then return to Ocean City, MD for the summer season where they will chase white marlin and fish the tournament circuit.
